Allen: The Allen brothers, Tony and Glenn, started their business back in 1956 with a vision of performance sailing hardware driven by their passion for sailing and their love of engineering, innovation and technology. The first fittings, which they designed and made for their own race boats, were such an improvement on everything then in use, that they were persuaded to set up full production to meet the demand of the growing dinghy sailing market. Allen is now run by Tony Allen’s daughter Liz Adams along with a highly skilled and dedicated Management Team.
Barton Marine: For nearly 80 years, Barton Marine has been making and dispatching world-class blocks from their factory in Southeast England. Starting in 1948, in Whitstable, famed for its shipwright heritage, founder Ron Barton, was one of the first to use a fabric based laminated plastic called Tufnol and stainless steel to manufacture yachting blocks which were much lighter and stronger than previously achievable.
Forespar: Forespar has continually advanced the quality of the sailing and powerboating experience since 1967. Founded by life-long boater Robert Foresman, the company has pursued his philosophy of innovation and quality to produce unique products which fill real needs.
Houdini: For over 50 years, Houdini Marine Windows Ltd have been designing and developing cutting-edge products, using state-of-the-art technology. Highly satisfied clients from many different industries have commissioned us to deliver innovative, quality and aesthetically stylistic windows and doors.
LIROS Ropes: Since its founding in 1854, the Rosenberger family has been producing ropes from all the fibres known all over the world. Today the company is run by the fifth generation Karl Friedrich Rosenberger and Sven Rosenberger. With the new factory, LIROS continue to manufacture in Germany so that they can control every part of the production from start to finish.
